Referral Process

Since 2016 Southdowns Physiotherapy has accepted NHS referrals.

Referrals are sent to us via the Sussex MSK Partnership East who are the regional organisation in charge of musculoskeletal conditions (This term covers problems, diseases and injuries relating to muscles, bones and joints).

In 2023 the Sussex MSK Partnership created the option to self refer to Physiotherapy without the need to see a health professional first - details for this are shown in the box below.

If you have been referred on by one of our Physiotherapists to see a member of the Advanced Practitioner Team, you can see an up to date predicted waiting time for this appointment by clicking the link below.
